Take part in the researching of words!
As I work on a new project, I’m interested in words which specifically detail and describe our relationship to the natural environments around us, or the environments themselves. Words that describe weather, time, landscape, the Earth generally, and our relationships with all of those things—how we notice and relate to them. Many of these types of words are found within lesser-known languages, or within communities that have been quietly living alongside the land in more unobtrusive and sustainable ways for hundreds of years.
